Forrest 🌲

This baby remains to be the happiest little man on the planet, but with that he’s also learned to express his anger LOUDLY. On the rare occasions he’s upset, he goes from 0 to 100 into a high pitch scream that breaks my heart every time. Thankfully this new skill has a brighter side, however, as he’s started blabbing away like his sissy. ⁣

He’s been the least interested in solid foods, literally gagging when we gave him oatmeal the first few times. We figured he just wasn’t ready, but he has shown more of an interest in the avocado his siblings are eating! He still makes a face at first, but will actually eat it and seems excited when I’m ready with more. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Marin June 🌻

Little miss finally let us hear her laugh this last month, and it melts us every time. It’s still hard to get it out of her, as it seems like she needs more “advanced” humor - like Peek-a-boo - which her brothers yet to comprehend.

She also tried solid food right at the tail end of the month and wasn’t quite a fan of the oatmeal at first. She did, however, love the avocado 🥑 ⁣Something her dad and I find funny because we both hate it! Marin has also started talking up a storm, constantly babbling away and carrying on conversations with herself. ⁣⁣

Wilder 🍂

He continues to be the first to hit a lot of milestones, maybe due to the fact he was almost 5lbs at birth, including starting solids at 4.5 months! This was supposed to get him through the night without an additional feed because the doctor was worried about him going off his curve, but in true Wilder fashion he’s still getting up. He does, however, sleep through the night every other day or so and when he does wake, he’s only taking 3oz vs the 7oz he was getting before!⁣

His new thing is blowing bubbles and making little fart noises with his mouth, and he will do it the entire duration of his waking hours. In addition to being silly, he remains the neediest baby, but also the most social. He was loving all the attention during our holiday travels despite the different surroundings and sounds.
